Pooja began her professional journey in Bangladesh, where she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Pharmacy and became a licensed pharmacist. Her academic foundation in pharmaceutical sciences was followed by approximately three and a half years of professional experience at Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Limited, where she worked in pharmaceutical supply-chain operations.
Her experience in the pharmaceutical industry provided her with firsthand knowledge of the importance of efficient inventory, medicine availability, procurement, and supply-chain management. That practical experience later became an important inspiration for her technology-focused work.
After moving to the United States, Pooja continued working in the healthcare sector at *Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, where she worked as a PTCB-certified Pharmacy Technician licensed by the California Board of Pharmacy. She is also an active member of the **National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP)*.
Alongside her professional experience, Pooja expanded her academic and technological expertise. She completed an MBA and is now nearing completion of her *Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in the United States. She has also pursued specialized training in **AI in Healthcare through Stanford Medicine School (Online)* and *Information Technology in Healthcare through Johns Hopkins University (Online)*.

Pooja’s multidisciplinary background eventually led to the development of Pharmacophore AI, a website designed to facilitate more effective inventory management for pharmacies.
The concept is rooted in a practical challenge faced by pharmacies: maintaining appropriate inventory while ensuring that medicines and pharmaceutical products can be managed efficiently.
By combining her pharmaceutical knowledge with supply-chain experience, business education, and interests in artificial intelligence and healthcare technology, Pooja aims to develop technology-based solutions for pharmacy operations.
“Pharmacophore AI represents the connection between my pharmacy background and my interest in technology,” Pooja says. “The goal is to use technology to address practical challenges in pharmacy management.”
Her interests extend beyond inventory management. Pooja is also involved in research related to artificial intelligence in healthcare, disease detection, deep learning, and explainable AI. Her research activities include work related to pharmaceutical products, deep-learning applications for diabetic retinopathy, and explainable machine learning for early disease detection.
